Sonas in Irish, means happiness which accurately describes this font’s personality. The foundation of this family comes from an early 20th Century font from a marketing type sample from which we expanded into a full character set for modern use. 

Sonas has a slim elegance and glamour that harkens back to broadway marquees and theater channel cut letters with bright bulbs shining from within. 

Sonas will be best suited for display and graphic implementation, although it can work well with certain typeset requirements. 

Text sample: ..now nearly all those loved and did not understand when I was young are dead, even Jessie, but sill reach our to them. Uf course I am too old to be much of a fisherman. And now, I usually fish the big waters alone, although some friends think I should t. But when I am alone in the half-ight of the canyon all existence fades to a being with my soul and memories and the sounds of the Big Blackfoot River and a four-count chuthm and the hope that a fish wil rise. Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world s great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs. I am haunted by waters.

Sonas contains a full extended Latin character set as well as a few of alternate characters ato allow for flexibility in your typesetting needs.

This is our second release as part of the Montotype foundry system and their MyFonts platform.
