Work-in-progress of a portrait I have been wanting to do for some time; an illustration of Lori Petty as Rebecca “Tank Girl” Buck. Now, this is one of those classic cult films from my youth starring one of the most overlooked and undervalued actors from that same period – Lori Petty.
I initially saw her in Point Break, and from then on I was hooked. She was a bit of a baddass and a great character actor and I have been wanting to do something with this character for some time. This portrait will probably serve as a component of an alternative movie poster as I work through some projects this quarter.
