A New Year’s Eve tradition our family has is to rewatch the original trilogy. Over time that has grown to include starting at Rogue One and proceeding through the sequels and has become a favorite holiday tradition.
Needless to say, as I sketched out some ideas for the first illustration of 2023, it was hard not to go back to a childhood hero of mine, Luke Skywalker.
