Whether you have a website(s) or run a business that relies on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) this is a great piece of software for your business. Advanced Link Manager (ALM) is the best way to analyze your website link popularity as well as make a detailed competitive analysis of the marketplace.
Getting started with ALM is as simple as:
- Launch Advanced Link Manager
- Select Project > New Project, and click Next
- Choose your search engines from the list and click Next
That’s it. Your project is now complete. From here, you can select “Get all available results” option to insure the project will retrieve all results from the selected search engines.
Once you click Finish, the project will load and automatically start updating the results for your site.

Reviewing the information provided is easy to do, since the application has multiple screens within the main window for reviewing different aspects of your project. These screens are:
Domain Information – displays contact information for potential link partners within the selected project and the breakdown of their page-rank, Alexa ranking and more information that is important as you grow your site’s link partnerships.
Unverified Referrers – shows any pages that have reported links back to your site by the selected search engines and the breakdown of their page-rank, Alexa ranking, etc.
Referrers – shows sites that are definitely linking back to your site, with date report was run, and the breakdown of their page-rank, Alexa ranking, etc.
Backlinks evolution – displays the evolution of the backlinks to your site over time
Search Engine Evolution – report tracks the estimated number of referrers to your site via: search engine overview, referrers by search engine and search engine evolution chart.
Link Text – shows the text value of an anchor tag in the link back to your site.
Keyword Analysis – one of the more useful screens for refining keywords and related information to grow your site.
Email – allows you to send link requests to selected sites from within the application.
Broken Links – helpful to correct broken links on your site
Indexed Pages – displays all of the pages that the search engines have indexed on your site.
All of these screens provide a detailed overview of the health of your site in the organic search space. Increasing the links to and from quality sites will have a positive impact on your site placement in the search engine returns.
Understanding the data is presented in clear and easy to follow tables throughout the application. All of the tables are sortable as well, depending upon the manner in which you wish to analyze the data. And once you have the data organized, it is easy to print out reports for you, your team or your clients.
