apple has just released a statement regarding the relaxed restrictions now in place for ios development. the portion of the statement that is probably creating the loudest ruckus at adobe’s headquarter’s is:
in particular, we are relaxing all restrictions on the development tools used to create iOS apps, as long as the resulting apps do not download any code. This should give developers the flexibility they want, while preserving the security we need.
this statement coincides with a newly updated developer agreement for all members of the ios developer program.
